If you are unsure what to buy, get in touch with us as we can advise on our full range of products.The galvanised Interclamp 150 internal expanding joint is a straight fitting for joining together tubes of the same size.
This fitting can only be used for 3.25mm wall thickness tubes (1°, 1 1/4° and 1 1/2° BS EN 10255, formerly BS 1387, medium weight). It must not be used as a load bearing joint, especially for tensile loads. When this is required, Interclamp fitting type 149 can sometimes be used as an alternative because of its superior load characteristics.
